For participants

There are two groups of potential participants in the project. If you are considering becoming a study participant, please select the group that describes you best:

If you are not a participant, but would like to be updated on study activities and findings, feel free to follow this blog or sign up for the study newsletter (very low traffic).

Facebook group members

If you are a participant in the study, this means that you have given consent for your words to be quoted in the project outputs and you will have the opportunity to check that I have understood your words correctly and placed them in the proper context.

People can be invited to participate if you take part in discussions on the Facebook group in question. For instance, this could include sharing comments, posts, or images.

I have obtained permission from the people who created and administer the Facebook Group. This information sheet and the consent form provide you with the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether you want to participate in this project.

So that we can update you on study publications and any changes to the ethics protocol, please sign up for the study newsletter (very low traffic).

Volunteers and staff

If you are a participant in the study, this means that you have given consent for your words to be quoted in the project outputs and you will have the opportunity to check that I have understood your words correctly and placed them in the proper context.

People who might be invited to participate could include members of the working group, steering committee or reference group, external partners and stakeholders, as well as paid staff and volunteers of the group or movement in question.

I have separately sought permission from the organisation delivering the project to observe its meetings and activities. This information sheet and the consent form provide you with the opportunity to make an informed decision about whether you want to participate in this project.

So that we can update you on study publications and any changes to the ethics protocol, please sign up for the study newsletter (very low traffic).
